It’s Up to You : As You Believe – 9/30/2013
![]() |
Ignorance and superstition have always been allies – “vultures of the same egg.” And it is not surprising to find, in a country where for so many years there have been just two kinds of people, good and bad, there are yet individuals here and there puzzled about “goodness.” Finally it reaches, through some insidious suggestion too subtle for understanding, the absurd height of asking: “Am I good enough to attempt to express more good?”
Because we have not reached the top, shall we refuse to take the first step? Because we have not prepared for calculus, shall we refuse to do our sums in addition? If the requirements followed these lines there would be no progress. Jesus refused to allow his disciples to call him good, explaining that there were none good except the Father. Shall we wait until we see as clearly as he saw the unity of all life before we attempt to use what light we have? Shall we bury our one talent and foolishly expect that we shall later dig it up and find it has multiplied into ten? Jesus said: “He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” Greater things than Jesus did! Does this mean that we have to be better than he was to do this. Did he say that perfection was the thing that was required? On the contrary, he made it plain that belief was the one essential factor. “As thou hast believed, so be it unto thee…”

Living Without Fear : Direct the Energy of Thought – 9/29/2013
![]() |
Man measures life through his concepts. Automatically, thought has power. If one wishes to demonstrate a spiritual Principle which he may lay hold of and definitely use, let him forego any sense of coercion and become as a little child in receptivity; let him definitely and consciously accept his good and continue accepting until he experiences it. We must subject ourselves to the Law if we wish the Law to subject Itself to us. A good-natured flexibility with oneself and a faith, persisting in the face of anything which would contradict it, is the only way to approach the Principle of right action.

The Magic : Day 9 – The Money Magnet

” It is only with gratitude that life becomes rich.” – Dietrich Bonhoeffer (1906-1945) Lutheran Pastor
Gratitude is riches and complaint is poverty; it’s the golden rule of your whole life, whether it’s your health, job, relationship, or money. The more grateful you can be for the money you have, even if you don’t have very much, the more riches you will receive. And the more you complain about money, the poorer you will become.
Today’s magical practice turns one of the biggest reasons people complain about money into an act of gratitude, and so it has double the power to change the circumstances of your money; you’ll be replacing a complaint, which makes you poorer, with gratitude, which magically brings you riches.
Most people wouldn’t think they complain about money, but if there is a lack of money in their life they are complaining without realizing it. Complaining happens through people’s thoughts as well as their words, and most people aren’t aware of the many thoughts in their head. Any complaining, negative, jealous, or worried thoughts or words about money are literally creating poverty. And of course the biggest complaints come when money has to be paid out.
If you don’t have enough money, paying your bills can be one of the most difficult things to do. It can seem like there is a greater stream of bills than there is money to pay them. But if you complain about your bills then what you are really doing is complaining about money, and complaining keeps you in poverty.
If you don’t have enough money, the last thing you would normally do is feel grateful for your bills, but in fact that’s exactly what you have to do to receive more money in your life.

Think Your Troubles Away : Using Spritual Power – 9/28/2013
![]() |
Today we are seeking to make practical use of spiritual Law as well as of other laws. in order to do this we must maintain a spiritual freedom of the intellect; the mind should be free from dogmatic theological bondage, and we should come to believe that we can approach the Spirit both consciously and directly. Whatever spiritual Power is, It must operate through our minds, and It must do so according to our belief that It can do so. We should not waste time trying to discover what spiritual Law is, since no one knows, nor does anyone know what any law is – only what it does. We do know this, however, that in using spiritual Law the one having the greatest faith obtains the best results. It works best when we use It in a straight affirmative manner. Any method of procedure that conducts the mind to this place of faith is good. If the mind finds itself already there, then no method is necessary. If we really believed that we are surrounded by a spiritual Presence which responds to our word, that when we speak our word into It our word tends to take form and objectify, then we should have the essence of the whole matter.

Daily Law of Attraction Quotation – 9/25/13

It is as easy to create a castle as a button. It’s just a matter of whether you’re focused on a castle or a button.
— Abraham Excerpted from the workshop in Boca Raton, FL on Sunday, January 12th, 1997
I missed posting this yesterday as I was so very busy with so many things AND “what-is” and funny how this was yesterday’s quote as all I could think about was Creating the prosperity and abundance needed to free me from all of my financial burdens and stress and be FREE to slow down, enjoy life, enjoy time with my son, and to finally know P E A C E ! And did not get to bed until after 2 AM and back up at before 7 AM (and that is only because my alarm clock failed to go off and I overslept) to do it all again! Trying to find a few moments during the day to break free from the demands of work and to “what-is” gorilla riding my back beating me in the head to be sure I always know its there….has been quite challenging this week and now add to that little sleep, even creating a button seems and feels like creating a castle! But I know that is just my “view” from where I am and can not allow where I AM to influence / affect where I WANT TO BE!
